The Season of Bloom workshop is a two-day, immersive floral design experience tailored for everyone from amateur enthusiasts to advanced floral designers. Whether you're aiming to enhance your skills, expand your portfolio, or simply indulge in your passion for flowers, this event is designed to provide valuable insights and hands-on experience. With three esteemed florists guiding this retreat, you will learn the essential techniques of floral artistry. Over the course of the event, you will create stunning floral designs including a bridal bouquet, a centerpiece arrangement, and a wearable floral piece. We will also be executing a grand, on-site floral installation, collaborating with fellow attendees to bring an extraordinary vision to life. Anita is the founder and lead floral artist behind Florals by Anita - an organic and artful event floral company founded in 2018, that centers around the abstract, inspires creativity and steps outside of the box of traditional design practices. Anita is passionate about designs that evoke emotion and a feeling of serendipity. She will be your guide through our wearable floristry portion of the workshop, instructing you through fine floral work and mechanics, as well as durability and making your florals long lasting.

Morgan Chrystian

A Petal for Your Thoughts

Morgan is the founder and lead designer of A Petal for Your Thoughts, an event floral business established in 2019, which focuses on romantic, unique and abundant designs inspired by florists around the world. Morgan has been in the floral industry for over 10 years and has spent that time further developing her techniques and skills. She will be your instructor for the bridal bouquet portion of the workshop and will be teaching you how to create a garden-style, whimsical bouquet while also diving into colour theory and how to properly utilize this in your designs.

Nicola is the heart and hands of Twin Flower Studio, a floral studio founded in 2020 that focuses heavily on sustainable practices and supporting local. Nicola has over 15 years in the floral industry and identifies as a lifelong learner, constantly evolving her craft through hands-on seminars, online workshops, and her own exploration. She will guide you through the creation of a foam-free, organic centerpiece along with an introduction to the principles of design.

Day One

9am: Meet & Mingle

Groups will be broken up to have a more intimate learning experience in each session. Sessions are 2 hours each of hands on learning of bridal bouquets, centrepieces and wearable pieces.

10am-12pm: Session 1 (bouquets, wearables, centrepieces)

12pm-1pm: Catered lunch

1pm-3pm: Session 2 (bouquets, wearables, centrepieces)

3pm-5pm: Session 3 (bouquets, wearables, centrepieces)

What is the investment?

Your investment includes all the materials, tools and premium blooms required to bring your creations to life. All you need to bring is yourself and your creative spirit and we will handle the rest!

Early Bird: $3000 + GST

Sleepy Bird: $3250 + GST

Night Owl: $3500 + GST

February 1, 2025 - February 28, 2025

To ensure an intimate educational experience with ample time for individual attention from each instructor, we are offering a limited number of tickets. To secure your spot, a 50% deposit is required, with the remaining balance due by the end of February 2025.
